Charles E. Grogg, age 65 of Monticello, passed away Friday May 22, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born June 17, 1949 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Gerald Grogg and Ardath Kettinger Alley and was of the Methodist faith.
He was a retired truck driver and is survived by his wife, Julie Sutherland Grogg of Monticello; one son, Christopher “Chris” Sutherland and wife Colleen of Monticello; three daughters, Dawn Grogg Hagerty and Matt Singleton, Vicki Grogg Wysong and husband Mike all of Kalamazoo, MI and Christina Grogg and Jeff Whitehead of Monticello; one brother, Barry Cushman and wife Grace of Hasting MI; two sisters, Cindy Strang of West Palm Beach, FL and Nancy Grogg of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; six grandchildren, Kory, Sammy, Abbigail, Timothy, Noah and Carrie; one great-granddaughter Azalee, along with several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30 at 154 Payton Rd in Monticello. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook: www.stephensondearman.com.
