Marguritte Owen Wilkinson, age 87 of Wilmar, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at The Woods of Monticello Health and Rehab Center. She was born July 7, 1928 in Drew County to the late Carrol Owen and Sara Jane Shurtleff Owen.
Along with her parents, Marguritte was also preceded in death by her husband, Hall O. Wilkinson, Sr. and her son, Hall O. Wilkinson, Jr. She was a retired beautician and was much loved by her family and all who had the opportunity to know her.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Linda Wilkinson of Wilmar; two granddaughters, Julie Rene’ Wilkinson of Hensley and Amanda Michele McLean of Wilmar; two great grandchildren, Shane and Sarah McLean of Wilmar; a niece, Jane Fritz, and other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvin McMahon officiating. The family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
