Heather Nicole Gladden, age 36 of Monticello, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born September 29, 1980 in Dermott, AR to Sheryl Melton Horn and the late Gregory Allen Gladden.
She was a homemaker and a Christian. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Brandy Leigh Gladden; her maternal grandfather, Jerry Dale Melton; her paternal grandmother, Peggy Gill Vickers; one uncle Arlin Terry and one aunt, Melissa Gladden.
Survivors include one daughter, Sydney Taylor Bliss Dickerson of Monticello; her mother and step-father, Sheryl Melton Horn and David of Cominto; three sisters, Ra’chelle Lynn Gladden of Dermott, Morgan Cheramie and husband Aaron of Sicily, Italy and Lauren Horn of Cabot; her maternal grandmother, Rose Marie Melton of Dermott; her paternal grandfather, Clarence “Buddy” Gladden and wife Sherry of Little Rock; one uncle, Tracy Melton and wife Janet of West Point, TN; three aunts, Monica Terry of Dermott, Michelle Case and husband David of Little Rock and Cindy Gladden Haley of Mooresville, IN; her finance, Brady Burke of Monticello; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
