Betty Ann Knowles Findley, age 87 of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. She was born June 13, 1931, in Drew County, AR to the late Albert Knowles and Servilla Harrison Knowles.
She was a homemaker and member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Jewel Bohannan. Mrs. Betty loved being outdoors and working in her flowers. She had a special love of helping others anyway she could and always put everyone else before herself.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Mickey Findley of Monticello; one sister, Bitty Jones of Monticello; three nephews, Sampy Jones, Woody Bohannan and Mike Clay; one niece, Jan Wheeler; a sister-in-law, Frances Clay; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. David Jacks officiating. Burial will be in 16th Section Cemetery in Drew County. Family visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. preceding the service at the church. Memorials preferred to Shady Grove Baptist Church and the Ozment-Valley/ 16th Section Cemetery Association.
