"Lynda,

Much sympathy from my mom, my brothers Harold and Charles Anderson, and me.

Mrs. Carter was the BEST teacher I ever had! By the end of 8th grade, her students were prepared not just for high school English classes, but college as well. She made such an impression on me that I followed the same career path!

Your dad was a special man, and they balanced each other so well! All of us who went to Sherrill schools during the "Carter Era" were blessed indeed!

I know you have many happy memories!

"I am so sorry I cannot be with you at this time. We had many - many good times and made many memories together. I alway think of her as a very good friend rather than my sister-in-law. My prayers are with you.
With Love, Malischka Dunlap"
