"Mr. Meeks was a great teacher. I can still see him driving that tiny red car to school in Dumas. He was my sister, Johnna's, favorite teacher. She still has her woodworking projects.

He would often stop by the house around deer season either just to say hello or maybe to swap a story or two with Michael Joe and I. Our daughter, Madison, learned his lil' Nissan pickup, by the age of 3 well. She would hollar, "Mr. Ron-Ron" when she'd see him pass by. Last night, after hearing of his passing, Madison now 13 said "oh mom, I sure will miss Mr.Ron-Ron, as will I and many others. God bless you all"
