Marguerite Fern Poe, age 91 of Selma, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at The Oasis in Dumas, AR. She was born November 19, 1929, in Buna, TX to the late John and Minnie Kirkindoll.
She was the widow of Robert Poe, Sr., member of Calvary Baptist Church, a housewife and wonderful mother of three boys. Mrs. Marguerite’s hobbies included having a beautiful yard as she loved gardening and raking leaves. She also had a passion for raising her three boys. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Poe, Jr.; three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Poe and wife Celina and Toby Poe all of Dermott; five grandchildren, Dustin, Adam, Cody, Kyle and Lacy; and two great grandchildren, Spencer and Eli.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Monticello. There will be a family visitation one hour preceding the service Monday at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
