Macie retired from the Coca Cola Bottling plant in 1990. She attended Oak Grove Assembly of God Church several years before she was no longer able to attend on a regular basis. Serving God was the heart of Macie. She was a prayer warrior and loved telling story after story of God’s miracle working power she experienced growing up as a preacher’s kid. "Gail and Calvin,
So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing! She was a very special lady that loved the Lord with all her heart! She reminds me of my mother so much! They were both God fearing ladies that taught us to love God! She loved Jo also and thought alot of her! Love, Rosemary Fryer"
