I remember going every year with Britt, your dad and Papa Miller to the Optimist Club’s Youth Breakfast. So many fond memories. Britt will definitely be missed by Pauline members and Monticello. "It was heartbreaking for me to hear that Britt did not survive the motorcycle as I had visited with him at Sav-a-lot that day about my daughter Leslie. He has always came to my house over the years to visit with Randy. They started kindergarten together and he has been a close friend to this family for many many years. He had stayed too late at Sav-a- Lot to speak to me about Leslie and to give me a message for her from him. I urged him to go on home as it was getting dark. That is just the way he was caring for other people. He loved the people of Monticello and they loved him."

Mrs Eubanks was my counselor at Drew Central and I remember him coming to school with her at times and her talking about Donnie and Britt. I don’t think Britt ever met a stranger and loved to talk. We went to church with them at Pauline Baptist. I loved Britt and his family. I also taught Britt in vacation Bible school when I was a teenager. He was a sweet boy. So sorry but I know he is with the Lord."
