"Wheaties’ Family
So sorry. I knew Wheaties many years in Monticello, where we attended 1st Methodist Church together. He was a welcomed member of our Mens Coffee Group, as well as Mondays Lunch Bunch. Wheaties was always happy & connected with everyone. He was justifiably proud of his “Cajun” heritage. He was a decent & loving friend. Living at Grand Manor A/L Home with him brought many hours of joy & happiness to everyone who knew him. May God grant Wheaties’ Family comfort at this difficult time. I will miss Wheaties!"

"I have great and fun memories of "Wheaties" as a friend and coach of our swimming team at MHS. I also am sad to see that he is no longer with us at Monticello. He was a very pleasant person to be around and knew very well how to laugh and enjoy life. Old football stories are really good about Eddie as he was funny even on the football field. Rest in peace my old coach and friend."
