Celento Rod "Roddy Poddy" Williams, 49 of Monticello, passed from this life, Sunday, July 17, 2022. Rod was born September 21, 1972, in Warren, Arkansas to the Late Pamela Williams and Jemie Earl Davis. He was raised by Louis Newton Jr. who loved him as his own. Rod was known for making everyone around him laugh. He always had a contagious smile. He loved to fish, hunt, and ride four-wheelers. Rod graduated from Hermitage High School in 1991. He worked for Johnsville Sand and Gravel until his health failed.
Rod is survived by his life partner of more than 20 years Linda Johnson; siblings, Scott M. Langstaff of Las Vegas, NV, Catina Newton of Warren, AR, April Newton of Conway, AR, Gabriel Newton of Conway, AR, Nicole LaTrice Johnson-Davis of California, Nicole Johnson (Charles) of Bryant, AR, Derek Davis (Joreianna) of Denver, CO; two granddaughters, Kailyn Green and Kyis Clifton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. before the service.
