Kerry Jacbo Hotard, age 32 of Monticello, AR, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 12, 1990, in Covington, LA to Dwayne Allen Ploof and Laura Hotard Works. Kerry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a chef who loved to cook. He also loved listening to music and skateboarding and was a graduate of Ponchatoula High School.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Allen Ploof.
Kerry is survived by his mother, Laura Hotard Works (Thomas); his twin sister, Melissa Champlin (Jeremy); niece, Daisy Champlin; brother, Brady Rodriguez; sister, Veronica Barrios (Layman); nephews, Beckham Barrios, Kayden Barrios, Brennan Barrios; step-mother, Nina Ploof; grandmother, Dorothy Boyd; extended family, Maw-Maw Rosalie Works; Maw-Maw Rita McCrory; his close friend, Chris Hubbard; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
There will be a memorial service celebrating his life Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Loranger Legacy Church, 19493 Magnolia St, Loranger, LA.
