Eva Jean Cash Shantz, age 69 of Lacey, AR, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at The Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation in Monticello, AR. She was born June 27, 1955, in Dermott, AR to the late Donald Cash, Sr. and Medora Ann Murphy Cash.
She was a retired legal secretary with Gibson & Keith Law Firm and a certified counselor. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Eva loved volunteering with 4H Clubs to teach women how to sew and make quilts. She also loved growing flowers and going to the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Andrew J. Lund; two brothers, Donald Cash, Jr. and Jack Cash; and two sisters, Donna Cash and Cindy Cash.
She is survived by her husband, David Michael Shantz of Lacey; one daughter, Kara L. Padilla of Centerpoint, TX; one son, Steven Garner of Wisconsin; and one granddaughter, Marissa Garner.
