"Im sadden to read of Mr Cordell’s passing. He randomly came to western Sizzlin on Sunday’s to get Togo buffet. But he was an everyday afternoon regular at the Coffee Drinkers table at which I was often the server. Mr Cordell was a nice respectful man who always had kind words about others. I’m sure he is missed."

"Cordell was a true gentleman. He always greeted with a smile and a polite word or two. Back before covid when I frequented the coffee shops it was always a bright spot in my day to run into Cordell. He will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to the family. Cliff Gibson"

"On behalf of the 1950 MHS graduating class, I send our deepest sympathy to Cordell's family. He was one of 50 members of this class that began the journey in 1938-39.
He will be missed but we know he is awaiting our big class reunion."
