"I was sorry to hear about J. C.'s death. He was passionate about playing bridge and we spent many hours at the table both as partners and opponents. Even after he got sick he was always ready and willing to play on Monday night whenever someone needed a partner. He will be missed by his friends at the Town & Gown Duplicate Bridge Club and the monthly gentlemen's bridge group here in Monticello and the Delta Diamonds Bridge Club in Dumas. May God bless J.C. and all his family."
