"May your grief be eased by knowing his peace in the arms of our Lord. Lester was one of the first SGT's to pick on me (in his own jovial way) when I joined the guard. I later had the privilege to serve as the 1122d Trans. Co. Commander, and I always sought his insight. Lester was a leader of men (and women) because he honestly cared about his soldiers. He was a gift in my life, and I am thankful."
