Shirley Ann Walters, age 68, of Monticello passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at her home in Monticello. She was born December 29, 1944 in Jennie, AR to the late J.E. Hilliard and Lucille Lovette Smith.
Shirley was a Christian woman along with being a loving mother and homemaker. She was a Baptist, the widow of Clay Walters, II and was also preceded in death by a brother, Roy Hilliard.
Survivors include two sons, Billy W. Tumey of Monticello and Robert Mitchell Tumey of Camden; four daughters, Janet L. Bissell of Shreveport, LA, Cheryl L. Morris of Lake Village, Rhonda King of Selma and Jammie L. Smith of El Dorado; two sisters, Joshlyn Cessor of Warren and Joyce Oliver of Lake Village; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
