"Granny Crook was a magnificent and wonderful Lady. You couldn't help but to love her. She would always ask me to come do her hair and I would always oblige. I got to hear many great stories of how she came to be who she was. Those stories and many others I will always hold close to my heart. Granny Crook told me many times that she loved me like I was one of her kids, and I in turn loved her. She could always make me smile no matter how down or mad I was. I always felt better after I got a Grandma Crook hug, they were the best. I'll never forget my Granny Crook. She's in a far off better place now and there's no more pain. I'll love you always...."
