Joe Lee Miller, 75 of Benton, formerly of Wilmar, AR, passed away November 9, 2013 at the Arkansas Health Center in Benton. He was born on September 15, 1938 to the late Joe Butler Miller and Erma Booker Miller.
He attended public school in Lacey, AR. He later married Earlene David and to this Union four children were born, one daughter whom he raised as his own. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Earlene; by brothers, Rodger, James and George Henry; one sister, Claudia Miller and several uncles and aunts.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Wanda Miller of Texas, Monica Jefferson of Mississippi, Calvin Miller, Lashunda Miller of Fountain Hill and Shelia Wilson of Fountain Hill whom he raised as his own; three sisters, Irene Miller of Fountain Hill, Erma Jean Mill and Leslie Mae Miller, both from Lacey; two brothers, Charlie Horace Miller of Lacey and Tom Miller of Warren; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the Arkansas Health Dept. for taking care of Joe Miller.
