Mary Ann Hood Doss, age 78 of Russellville, formerly of Monticello, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 in Russellville. She was born April 6, 1935, the daughter of the late Leroy Hood and Ruth Agnes Slaughter Hood.
She was a retired teller at Commercial Bank, a sales clerk and a Christian. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Margie Doss Sigler and Muri Doss. She was a very kind and loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother and was a very giving person to her family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Michael G. Doss of Rock Hill, SC and Mark Doss and fiancée Rebecca of Warren; one brother, Bobby J. Hood and wife Sandy of Monticello; two grandsons, Kasey Doss of Russellville and Tyler Doss of Monticello; one granddaughter, Michaela Orton of New Edinburg; her uncle and aunt, Earl D. Slaughter and wife Manon of Monticello; one nephew, Bobby Joe Hood, II and wife Christie of Benton and many other relatives and friends.
