Ty Markey Calbert, Sr. was born December 25, 1990, in Monticello, AR to Ely Deyork Johnson and Joe Calbert. He departed this life on August 30, 2026, at his home in Warren, Arkansas.

Ty was a 2009 graduate of Watson Chapel High School. He was a machine operator and came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a young age. Ty was a wonderful father. He was always there for his kids and took pride in making sure they had everything they needed. He was a true friend and loved all of his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee Vert Green, Geneva Green, Leroy and Pauline Calbert.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Ty Calbert, Jr. and Major Calbert; two daughters, London Anderson and Paris Calbert; his mother, Ely Johnson; his father, Joe M. Calbert; a brother, Edward Lucas; two sisters, Sonja Jackson and Angele Dawn and husband Kenneth; one brother, Cedric Calbert; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a wake Friday, September 11, 2026, from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Warren.
