Marciel Crutchfield Harper, age 94 of the Rock Springs community in Drew County, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018, at the Woods Nursing & Rehab in Monticello. She was born January 16, 1924 in Pine Bluff, AR to the late William Percy Crutchfield and Fannie Jane Owen Crutchfield.

She was the widow of Harold Maxwell Harper, retired from Burlington Industries, Bob's Shoes and Cockrell Shoes and was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church. Crutchfield and William Homer Crutchfield; one sister, Gearldine Davis; son-in-law, Jim Tomboli; and one great granddaughter, Amanda Lee Hoover.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Hard work and family were her life. Marciel enjoyed cooking, especially when it was for those she loved. She will be cherished and missed by all who loved her.
