Clemmie Piper Cash, 72, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at her home. She was born August 29, 1937 in Drew County.

She was the widow of Rayford Cash, retired inspector for Burlington Industries and a Baptist. She was the daughter of the late T. F. Piper and Velma Rial Piper and was preceded in death by two sons, Danny Cash and Dale Cash; one granddaughter, Kimberly Cash and four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Cash of Monticello; two daughters, Sue Gavin of Hooks, TX and Michelle Evans of Monticello; two brothers, David Piper of Hope, AR and Fred Piper of Aurora, IL; three sisters, Linda Moore, Gladys Owens and Earla Webb, all of Monticello; five grandsons, Devin Beard, Bo Evans, Cody Cash, Justin Cash and Jeramiah Cash; four granddaughters, Felicia McClain, Paige Gavin, Elisa Brown and Cheyenne Cash; two great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters; two special friends, Mary Goad and Margie Simpson.
