Bivian Wilson Watts Collins
May 21, 1921 - January 22, 2020

Bivian Eula Wilson Watts Collins, age 98 went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 22, 2020. She was born on May 21, 1921 to Robert Warden "Bob" Wilson and Annie Riley Doss Wilson in Monticello, AR.

She graduated from Drew Central High School and the Brian's School of Business in 1941. She worked 35 years as a private secretary. During WW II, she worked at the Jacksonville Ordinance Plant and the Pine Bluff Arsenal. She married Harold Watts in 1945. He was in the Navy and stationed in Jacksonville and Miami, FL. There she worked in naval records. In 1962 she began work as Executive Secretary for the Vice President at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and remained in that position for 21 years. She also worked as Deputy Circuit Clerk in the Drew County Court House until her retirement. In 1976 she married John R. Collins.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Extension Homemakers of America, and American Legion Auxiliary where she served as President, Secretary/Treasurer and Platform Page during the annual conventions. She also served as District President of American Legion Auxiliary for six years.

She is preceded in death by husbands, Harold Watts and John Collins, by one son, Douglas Keenan Watts and great-grandson, Daniel Miller Greeson.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Kay Greeson and husband Rick; granddaughter, Beth Roach and husband Jason; grandson, Lee Greeson and wife Christie, all of Little Rock; granddaughter, June West and husband Jason of Clinton, South Carolina; great-grandchildren, Riley, Maggie and Annie Roach, Noah and Hannah Greeson; Promis, Randy, BJ, Patsy, Poppy, Paige, Paizley and Jaxson West.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home, 942 Hwy 425 N, Monticello. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Family visitation will be after the service at the funeral home.
