Floy Mae Crossett
December 9, 1930 - August 26, 2020

Mrs. Floy Mae Crossett left her earthly home and entered her heavenly home on August 26, 2020. Floy was a resident of Bellview Rehabilitation Center in Monticello, AR. For the past three years, Mrs. Floy has waited anxiously to be reunited after 70 years of marriage with her husband Harry Crossett, Sr.

Mrs. Floy was born in Pine Bluff, AR on December 09, 1930. Her parents Albert L. Studdard and Virginia Winston Studdard married in Sheridan, AR in 1919. Out of this union, four daughters and three sons became the Studdard family. Mrs. Floy loved her family. She never forgot her roots and appreciated her family.
One surviving sister: Shirley Jean Kiszenia of Florida.
Three deceased brothers: Albert Lee, George W. and Robert D. Studdard
Three deceased sisters: Frances West, Juanita Moore and Doris Harris
Two surviving sisters-in-laws: Mamie Crossett and Beveline Studdard

Mrs. Floy married Harry Crossett, Sr. on December 21, 1946 and their journey began. Mr. Harry worked for the Bell Telephone Company throughout southern Arkansas thus the moving and the relocations began. Harry, Jr. was born in Fayetteville, N.C. Brenda was born in Warren, AR Jim was born in Batesville, AR and Randy was born in Monticello, AR. When the first three children started school, Floy Mae and Harry moved their family from Camden, AR to Monticello, AR to settle down with three children, goldfish and many coon dogs. Therefore, this was the beginning of a beautiful lifetime of loving God, family and serving others.

Mrs. Floy's family was richly increased and blessed by the grace of God.
Eldest son, Harry, Jr. (Becky) of Batesville, AR;
Daughter, Brenda Carothers (Ron, deceased) of West Point, GA;
Second son, Jim (Cookie) of Monticello, AR;
Third son, Randy (Kathy) of Bryant, AR.
The Crossett family grew through the years adding two additional members:
Grandson, Ben (Jennifer) of Stuttgart, AR.
Niece, Cecily West (deceased) of Camden, AR.

Mrs. Floy loved her grandchildren and appreciated their visits and telephone calls immensely. The six grandchildren are; Scott (Lisa) Crossett, Joseph (LeAnne) Crossett, Leah (Nathan) Cook, Cara (Beau) Hume, Patrick Lewis and Hannah Box. The 14 great-grandchildren added to the Crossett family tree.

God blessed the union of Floy Mae and Harry Crossett, Sr. The two are together in Heaven because of their acceptance of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Psalms 37: 23-24
Interment will be in Monticello, AR by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
A private family service will be held.
