Rebecca Jo Meier Hammock, age 48 of Monticello, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. She was born October 7, 1972, in Monticello, AR to A.J. Meier and the late Sally McGregor Meier.
She was of the Catholic religion. Rebecca loved to go to Bad Marriage Concerts, take care of her pig, Buttercup and spoil her granddaughter rotten. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Martin Hammock.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Hammock of Monticello; one son, Charlie (C.J.) Hammock, Jr. and wife Samantha of Monticello; one granddaughter, Kensley Hammock of Monticello; her father, A.J. Meier of Monticello; a sister, Marsha Chatman of Washington State; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Wilson Cemetery. There will be a come-and-go viewing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Covid-19 guidelines will be enforced. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
