William M. Barnes, 89 of Warren, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren. He was born September 12, 1920 in Drew County.

He was a retired pest controller and Assembly of God. He was the son of the late Wesley Barnes and Mary Elizabeth Stephenson Barnes and was preceded in death by his wife, Martina Ashcraft Barnes; one brother, James Barnes and one sister, Beatrice Towler.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary Loveless and Rachel Martin, both of Warren; three brothers, Robert Barnes of McGehee, Ralph Barnes of Monticello and Aubrey Barnes of Hermitage; several nieces and nephews.
