Cindy Parnell Booker, 80, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born January 30, 1931 in Bradley County.

She was retired from Burlington Industries and a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Carl Parnell and Florence Gorman Parnell and was preceded in death by one brother, James (JW) Parnell and one great-grandson, Austin Dakota Smith. She loved gardening.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Booker and Billy Booker, both of Monticello; one daughter, Teresa Smith of Monticello; one brother, Cecil Parnell of Houston, TX; one sister, Dorothy Taylor of Warren; seven grandchildren, Chris and Steven Booker, Allen Smith, Scott Booker, Keith and Craig Booker, Donna Norris and nine great-grandchildren.
