Floyd Damon Wooldridge, age 79 of Monticello passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born December 29, 1931 in Rye, AR to the late William Thomas Wooldridge and Claudia Bell Cury Wooldridge.

He was a retired welder, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; Carl H. Wooldridge and Billy Troy Wooldridge and three sisters; Robbie Ashcraft, Marie Evans and an infant sister.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Herring Wooldridge of Monticello; two sons, Kevin Kelly Wooldridge of Dublin, OH and Brian Kendal "Kenny" Wooldridge of Monticello; and three grandchildren, Ryan Grell, David Wooldridge and Abbie Wooldridge.
