"Charlie Fred" was loved and a true friend to so many. His display of sincere kindness and compassion is rarely seen today. Our family was honored to call him friend. May the Lord comfort and lift you up during this time. Tuesday, August 1, 2017 |

To Charlie's Family and Funeral Home Family, I know he will be missed by all of you. He considered everyone family. Having known Charlie most of my life I know that he made it his business to try to know everyone and be a friend. Few people pass through this old world and can say they knew so many friends. We grieve for ourselves and the loss we all will feel when we should be dancing in the streets for the streets of gold that Charlie finally walks upon. Charlie would not want anyone to weep for him but rejoice in the Glory he has gained. May you find your peace and comfort through the difficult times to come by leaning upon the Lord. With heart felt thoughts and many prayers for all of you. May you rest in the comfort of knowing Charlie is at peace and has earned that new body with no more pain. I pray God's richest blessings on all of you.

My deepest condolences go out to Mr. Charlie Fred's beloved family. What a pleasure and privilege it was for me to read about and compile his great athletic accomplishments, and what an honor it was to meet him and his son, Chuck, when Charlie Fred was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame this year. Monticello , Drew county, and the Dearman family have lost one of their finest, as Charlie Fred was just as great of a civic leader and family man as he was a leader on the football field. He was definitely one of a kind and will be sorely missed. Monday, July 31, 2017 |
