Chuck, David, Mrs. Laura Lee: I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Charlie Fred's passing. He was a great man, and a true icon in our community. I have fond memories of growing up there and visiting him at the funeral home just to talk about various topics, and to hear his great stories. It was a great honor for me to have known him and call him friend. Monticello has truly suffered a great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

He had such a sweet smile, endless detailed stories only he could tell, and hugs that made you feel as if you were a long lost friend that had just been found.
