I loved Mr CF! He was a big inspiration in my younger years . Taught me about the game of baseball and how to respect it . I can't remember a day he ever missed helping Mr Dewey Henley coach us hard headed kids in little league . My prayers go out to David and Chuck , and the entire family . Tuesday, August 1, 2017 |

Having known Mr. Charlie all my life it is with great honor and respect I reflect on that. He and his family always greet you with a smile, take time to speak and help as needed. He was committed to his business and community and worked hard to make sure you felt as if you were the most important person around when talking with you. During these past two years i have got to spend more one on one time with him. Listening to stories of yesteryear. Experiences that he and my father had working together and hidden secrets of Drew County. With his death dies an era we will never have again. Chuck , I want you and Cindy to know not a day went buy that he did not brag on each of you. He was so proud, appreciated and loved you both. Mr. Charlie will be missed by all that new him. Everyday as I walk by his chair in the dining room and his apartment I will smile and be thankful for the time we shared and know now he is in a better place. RIP Mr. Charlie until we meet again!!
