Glenda,
I just found out today about your loss. My heart is so heavy. RayJay was such a joy and blessing to me. He certainly made my days coaching at Warren a wonderful experience. You, Michelle, and Trent are in my thoughts and prayers. May God's grace comfort you.

Glenda,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. I didn't hear about his death until after the funeral. He was a cousin that I enjoyed being around in our 'younger' years.

My heart is passionately grieved to know that coach Scogin is no longer with us. I admired him and was inspired by him as a coach. He was a close friend and coach, that I shall always remember. May God bless and keep you Glenda and family.

I had the honor and the pleasure to know your husband/father and I was very sorry to hear about his passing away. I had the greatest respect for Raymond as a person and a coach. I will always remember his advice when we won the state championship in 1980. He was a great teacher with a generous nature and a remarkable sense of humor. He touched many lives during his coaching career in Little Rock, not just at Central but all over the city.

Glenda, Trent, & Michelle,
Please know my prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time in your lives. I thought a lot of Ray Scogin's. He was very dedicated to his job as a math and basketball coach. He was loved by many and will certainly be missed by many.
I've had several basketball coaches during my tenure as a superintendent of schools but can't think of any who was more dedicated.
I pray that God will surround you with his loving kindness and sweet spirit.
