Mr. Larkin was such a wonderful man. A great christian, son, brother, husband, father, and papaw, and friend. He never met a stranger, always having a story to tell. He loved his family so much... especially Rachel and Barret ( those grandkids). They made his face light up! I knew he would help our family at a moment's notice if needed. He is not here in Monticello any longer, but his stories and love is. I will miss you Mr. Larkin. Sunday, March 20, 2011 |

Mr. Larkin Brown was a wonderful and kind man. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Brown through working at the McGehee Extension Office. Everytime I talked to Mr. Larkin either by telephone or in person, he always made my day. He got along with and loved everybody. I sure missed him when he retired. But at different times, he would visit the McGehee Office and it was a blessing to visit with him again. He will always be one of my favorite Extension Agents. Saturday, March 19, 2011 |

My heart is so sad for the loss of my second Dad, Mr. Larkin. He always called me his other Sherry. He loved people and especially children and always made them feel special. I will always be grateful for the time he spent with my boys and the love he showed us all....it may have been a meal , homemade sling shots or stilts, a trip to the farm or the county fair or a big ole hug. So thankful for such a wonderful Christian man that had his priorities right. He was such a special man, loved his family, His Lord, His community and his friends.. Sure gonna miss you but you are walking wiht our Lord....see you there later. Friday, March 18, 2011 |

Mr. Larkin was a former co-worker and friend while at the Extension Service. To this day when I think of the Extension Service, I think of him. He loved Drew County and all his friends there. He was at home in front of a crowd of farmers or group of 4H members. Several lives have been changed for the better simply by being around Mr. Larkin. Including mine.
