Meghan, I didn't know him, but I know the pain and the future days, months and years are not going to be easy. I am praying for you and your daughter that you can find peace. Just wish I could help you, but lean on God and He will make the days a bit easier. I think of you often and will always remember you as a friend that God put in my life for a reason. My deepest sympathy.

Brad was one of the most positive and easygoing people I've ever known. It was a privilege to know him even if only for a short time. He was an exceptionally talented musician, as well as a scholar. I used to enjoy talking with him about philosophy and life. He said he was leaning towards Taoism, and got me interested in Asian religion and culture. I'm sure he had a lot to do with my moving to Japan after graduating college. I didn't know his premature departure would leave such a hole in my heart, but I feel as though I've lost a brother. Meghan and Zoe, I'm far away physically, but I'm here with you in spirit, and here for you if you need anything.

Megan and Zoe, I am sending prayers of comfort and peace during your time of immense loss. Although I haven't seen Brad since college, I fondly remember him with a smile on his face, a song in his heart, and lost deep in thought. He will be remembered fondly.
