Chuck and family,
Memories of Charlie go back as far as I can remember! I always thought of him as family. He was adopted by the Pace family and has taken care of them with love and respect. He will truly be missed by all who loved him but will never fade in their memories! He loved to come to mommas for their traditional chitlin supper along with the preacher, game warden and others for a good time of fellowship! Chuck, thank you and Cindy for taking such good care of my buddy! Love and prayers that God will comfort you in this sorrowful time. Pam

Mrs. Laura Lea, Chuck, David & family: Gosh where can I start. As to how Charlie Fred touched my life both personal and professionally. H the first e was one of the first Funeral Directors I meet outside of Ashley County. After completing Mortuary School, I to would go to Monticello just to visit and learn from his vast knowledge of funeral services. A great story teller he was, listening to his stories of the many families he served over the years. I looked to Charlie Fred as a mentor and a guidance counselor , for a young funeral Director who had to come up fast in the profession..
I will always value his friendship and that big smile on his face.
I pray for each of you to have peace during this time.of your loss.

God Bless
Lewis

I first knew of Charlie when he played football at A&M and he was larger than life and then when many years later I had a new association with him I saw that he had remained larger than life. Charlie cared deeply about the "families" he and his funeral home served and I believe he always put their interest above his own. . My condolences to his family and friends in the lost a truly unique person
