Mrs. Socia was such a wonderful person she was mine sons hero. She always took the time to make sure he was okay. Whether it was eating lunch with him are encouraging him to make good choices. She was example of how to lead and show kindness and selflessness. Making sure her kiddos were okay. You will always have a special place in Brayden’ and my hearts. You will be missed. Praying for your family in these difficult times.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Yolander D. Brown
Dumas, AR

Mrs. Socia and I taught in Dumas in the early 2000 era. Later in our careers, we were instructional facilitators. For a third time, our career paths led us to working in the same district. She was a part of our elementary team. Before Covid preventing us from having large team meetings, we would often sit together and even had an inside joke of “Wonder Twin Powers activate” and fist bump! She understood student learning and what was required to get students there. Her passion was for students and learning. My sincerest condolences to her husband Curt, her daughter Jordan and the rest of her family.

Rebecca was a great person and an awesome educator. I had the privilege of attending college with her, working alongside her as a teacher, she taught my son, she was my boss and then my colleague. I loved and respected Rebecca for how she loved every student that crossed her path, and she wanted the best for them. She will be not only missed by her family and friends but also by the students and teachers who loved her. Rest in peace Rebecca. We love you!
