 |  |  |  Wilma "Jean" Rice Grantham, age 79, of Monticello passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR.  Born April 5, 1930 in Lee County, AR, she was the daughter of the late William Detroit Rice and Mary Lou Brock Rice.
 She was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church where she sang in the adult choir.  She also worked several years for the Times Herald in Forrest City, AR as a photography technician.  She enjoyed camping and hiking with her family along with shopping at flea markets and yard sales.  She especially loved her Church work and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Rice, Chester Rice, Walter Rice and William J. Rice and two sisters, Hazel Bryan and Naomi Rice.
 
 Survivors include two sons, Gary Wayne Grantham and wife, Laurie of Beaumont, TX and Craig Herndon Grantham and wife, Janet of Monticello;  one brother, Lewis Rice of Illinois; two sisters, Alice Lucille Pollan and Bessie Hart, both of West Helena, AR; three grandsons, Joseph Grantham, Jeffrey Hill and Christopher Grantham;  four granddaughters, Kathy Lewis, Vickie Kessler, Crissy Gibson and Carrie Williams;  and twelve great grandchildren.
