Jimmie Mae Devine Beaty, age 85 of Dermott, passed away Sunday, August, 22, 2021, at her home. She was born July 31, 1936, in Drew County, AR to the late James William Devine and Vertie Mae McDaniel Devine.
She was the widow of H.L. �Buddy� Beaty, a retired Burlington Industries Quality Control Manager and member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Jimmie loved cooking for everyone, was a hospital volunteer for many years and was a workaholic.
Survivors include three sons, Rickey Lee Beaty (Wanda Lynn) of Mer Rouge, LA, James Wayne Beaty (Lise) of Monticello and Jackie Dwayne Beaty (Nancy) of Dermott; one daughter, Kimberly Diane Slaughter of Wilmar; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial in Rock Springs Cemetery. There will be a visitation one hour preceding the funeral service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
