Carolyn Sue Estelle, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Monticello, Arkansas, Sue Estelle was a woman of unwavering strength and grace, always putting the needs of her family and friends first. She was a devoted nurse for 30 years and homemaker in the later parts of her life.
Sue was passionate about music and singing and was an active church member of Lacey Assembly of God Church. Sue found joy in the simple things like spending time with family, especially for holidays, and always loved taking photos of those she loved and cherished. Sue had a huge passion for animals, working in her flower garden and traveling. Sue spent 10 years selling home interior items and enjoyed interior decorating. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love and kindness and was an inspiration to us all, teaching us the importance of family, friendship and perseverance. She sacrificed more than you'll ever know and always put others before herself. She knew how to support, encourage and love everyone. Anyone who was fortunate enough to know her was proud of everything she achieved and her faith and love for Jesus was the cornerstone of her existence. We will forever cherish the memories of her laughter, wisdom and unwavering strength and love.
Sue is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Nell Martin. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Robert Estelle; a son, Lance Estelle and wife Khealy; a daughter, Maci Estelle/Dylan; her father, Jesse Martin and wife Janice; two grandsons, Jayden Estelle and Jackson Estelle; her brother, Kevin Martin and wife Trenia; one sister, Suzette Phillips; her sister-in-law, Penny Corder and husband Eddie; special niece, Malory Gossman; special nephew, Drake Martin; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lacey Assembly of God Church in Lacey with Rev. Marty Jones and Rev. Devin Burns officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. preceding the funeral services at the Church. Burial will follow in Lacey Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Drake Martin, Mack Gossman, Codie Martin, Jayden Estelle, Brian Stanfill, and Jake Nowlen. Honorary pallbearers are Eddie Corder, Bart Measel, and Jason West.
