Ricky Lamar Cater, age 61 of Monticello, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at his home. He was born October 21, 1963, in Drew County, AR to the late Charles Lamar “Chuck” Cater and Evelyn Wiebenga Cater.
He was a log truck drive most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. Ricky’s hobbies included hunting, fishing and playing pool.
He is survived by his son, Nick Cater and wife Jenna of Monticello; and a grandson, Gage Forrest Cater.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2025, at Gaster Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gary Carter officiating. There will be a visitation Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 at the funeral home. You can sign Ricky’s guestbook registry on this website.
