Euphemia Nancy "Fee Fee" Jones
August 3, 1940 - June 21, 2025

Euphemia Nancy Jones, commonly known as "Fee Fee Jones", age 84 of Warren, AR, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, June 21, 2025, at her home. She was born August 3, 1940, in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa to the late Francis Lewis and Eva Viola George Lewis. She continued her education from West Africa to Pax Hill Educational Center in Surrey, England. Euphemia then continued her education in the United States and graduated from Hicks Beauty College of Cosmetology in San Antonio, TX. She then became an instructor at Booker T. Washington Institute in Kakata, Liberia.

Euphemia knew the Lord at an early age. She recognized the importance of mission work for God and was a devoted member of Providence Baptist Church in Liberia. She and the women of the church built a church in Yen Yen to give the people in the village a place to worship.

After becoming a United States citizen, Euphemia opened a successful restaurant in Los Angeles, CA and Kansas City, KS. She resided in Kansas City where she met and married her husband, Calvin Jones. She and her husband Calvin moved from Kansas City, KS in 1993. Euphemia has two biological children, Francine Shelton and Maria Cannon and many other children who God has blessed her with. She was also Vice-Presided of the Red Cross and the Jr. Chamber of Commerce.

In 1993, Euphemia moved to Arkansas and opened a restaurant and continued her mission with the soup kitchen that started in 1994 by initially feeding five people. She was responsible for the Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels Project which feeds 350-400 people every second and fourth Saturday of the month by delivering hot meals to the people of the community of Warren, AR in Bradley County and also holds an annual Christmas Giveaway to help the children and people of her community celebrate Christmas.

She was the widow of Calvin Jones, a retired entrepreneur and became an active member at First Baptist Church in Warren in 2017.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mai Finnegan; and a brother, Francis Lewis, Jr.

Mrs. Euphemia is survived by her children, Francine Shelton and husband Carl of Warren, Maria Cannon- King and husband Fredrick of Warren, Marquita Green and husband Miguale of Kansas City, MO, Maurice Cannon and wife Sahirah of Oklahoma City, OK, Calvin Jones, Jr. and Demont Jones of Kansas City, KS; four sisters, Magdalene James of New Jersey and Wilhelmina George of Kansas City, KS, Eleanor Rice of Blue Springs, MO, and Cynthia Elliott-Diggs of New Jersey; a brother, Tom Lewis of New York; nine grandchildren, Iyahna, I'Daja, Sariyah, Tayana, Symphony, Shiloh, Demont Jr., Christian, and Rhiyah; and a host of nieces, nephews, spiritual children, brothers, and sisters.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Warren with Rev. John Gaskin and Bishop Wiley officiating. Burial will be in Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Monticello, AR.

Serving as active pallbearers are Derrek Goodman, Joseph Myers, Caleb Myers, Kiias Ridgell, Ki'Rion Ridgell, and Santiago Rodriguez Pascual. Honorary pallbearers are Carl Shelton, Frederick King, Victor K. GarGar. Swithin Mustapha Swaray, Miguale Green, Calvin Jones, Jr., Demont Jones, Julian Mejia, Maurice Cannon, Keatron Ridgell, T'Aurean Johnson, Morontae Jones, Eugene Jones, Jr., Martez Hampton, Greg Myers, and George "LG" Sherman, II.
