Delbert L Lemley
July 19, 1954 - July 20, 2025

Delbert Lemley, age 71, of Ladelle, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at The Woods Nursing and Rehab. He was born July 19, 1954, in Dermott, Arkansas to the late R. Leo Lemley and Glenda Marie Qualls Lemley. Delbert was a diesel mechanic who could fix anything. He attended Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mud riding, and working on stuff. He had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. But if you knew Delbert, you knew his most favorite pass time was arguing with anyone and everyone that he could.

In addition to his parents, Delbert was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Lemley; and one uncle, Harry.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Lemley and wife Ally, and Richard Joey Lemley and wife Michelle; twelve grandchildren, Leo Lemley, Penelope Lemley, Jonus Lemley, Jackson Lemley, Justin Tullos, Aisley Piper, Braden Piper, Waylon Piper, Taeten Piper, Katie Wedige, Jacob Trantham, and Josh Trantham; five siblings, Donald Lemley and wife Dorothy, Arlene Hensley and husband, Pete Lemley, Jerry Lemley, and Ann Forrest and husband Paul; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Drew Forrest and Dana Sawyer for their help in caring for Delbert over the last several months.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Centerpoint Cemetery in Drew County, Arkansas with Rev. Dwayne Roper officiating. You can sign Delbert’s guestbook here on his page.
