Sarah Isabell Everett
August 23, 1937 - November 25, 2025

Sis. Sarah Isabell Dodds-Everett was born August 23, 1937, to the late William Dodds and Nellie Harrell-Dodds in Drew County. She departed her earthly existence on November 25, 2025, at Cambridge Nursing Facility, in Snellville, GA.
She confessed her faith and belief in Jesus Christ at an early age and united with the Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, Coleman, AR. After her marriage to the late Rev. Wade Everett, she united with Sixteen Section Missionary Baptist Church, Monticello, AR. Where she worked faithfully as a deaconess, Mother-of-the-Church, Choir member and attended Sunday School until her health began to fail. Sis. Sarah Everett was a friendly person and devoted servant of God. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star (OES)- True Light, Chapter #349, Selma, AR. Sis. Sarah Everett was a hard worker. She was an employee of Burlington Industries and was able to live to become a retiree of many years of service. She was also a Foster Grandparent at Drew Central Elementary.
She enjoyed cooking/baking, SHOPPING, music (singing), and spending valuable time with family. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday.
Sis. Everett was preceded in death by her parents-William and Nellie Dodds, a sister- Pearlene Dodds-Simpson (Juan), husband- Rev. Wade Everett, daughter- Joyce Ann Everett, Brother-in-law- Neander Rowlett, as well as many others.
She leaves to cherish her memories: 3 daughters- Marcia Suber (Edward), Marie Jackson (Raymond) of Monticello. Felecia McDuffie (Danny) of Riverdale, GA. 1 son- Pastor Malcolm Everett (Lashunda) of Fairburn, GA. 1 sister- Ora Rowlett of Monticello, AR. Grandchildren- Krystal Baines (Tony), Cornelius McCray (Michallie), Cassie McCray, Edward Suber, Jr., William McDuffie, LaShay Cristler and Aniya Fulton, along with 11 great grandchildren. A host of Brother-in laws and Sister-in-laws. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sixteenth Section Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Sixteenth Section Cemetery.
