Howard Willis Harris, age 66 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his home. He was born November 29, 1959, in Gwinnett County, GA to Virginia Harris and the late Howard Harris Wages.

He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed woodworking and making decals. Howard was a pillar of strength, a hard worker, and a true friend to all who knew him. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy G. Kimsey.

He is survived by his children, Jasmine Bittle and husband Dustin, Jeanne Andrews, Hope Harris, Kelli West, Jerry West and Kyle Barnett; his mother, Virginia Harris; siblings, Stanley Stephenson, Darryl Kimsey, Mashella Martin, Hayley Kimsey and Darlene Kimsey; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services along with visitation will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel.
