Elizabeth Ann Shaver
December 8, 1944 - July 17, 2026

Elizabeth Ann Shaver, age 81 of Monticello, passed away, Friday, July 17, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 8, 1944, in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Walter and Eunice Reed Daugherty.

Ann enjoyed fishing, gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family, especially when a good meal was involved. She loved to go out and eat lunch with her friends and was a faithful member of Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her church family. Ann started the Wednesday night van ministry by picking up the ladies in her own car until her health started to fail and she no longer felt comfortable doing so. She then asked the church if the church van could pick them up and was a faithful rider every Wednesday night with the other ladies. Ann retired from Burlington Industries where she worked for thirty years. She was a 1962 graduate of Drew Central High School.

She is survived by two children, Ronny Shaver and wife Tammy and Tina Shaver both of Monticello; grandchildren, Colton Shaver and wife Abbie, Baylee Wilson and husband Justin and Landon Shaver all of Monticello; great grandchildren, Caden, Bradlee, Paisley, Everly, and another grandson due in September; brothers, James Daugherty and wife Julia of Monticello and Eugene Daugherty and wife Debbie of Warren; sisters, Alice McGehee and husband Jackie of Star City, Sue Daugherty of Warren, and Linda King and husband Ronnie of Monticello; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Dwayne Roper officiating. Burial will follow in Lacey Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be B.J. Nowlen, Nathan Ferguson, Aaron Ludlow, Doug Harris, Burton Nowlen, and Kenny Pace. Honorary pallbearers are Mike West and Larry Collins.
