Elizabeth Lavern Lacey, age 78 of Stuttgart, formerly of McGehee passed away Friday, September 2, 2011, at the Crestpark Nursing Home in Stuttgart. She was born on February 20, 1933 in Bearhouse ( Drew County) to the late Robert Pittman and Palma Warren Pittman.

She was a retired general utility worker with Georgia Pacific and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane Sass of McGehee; two grandsons, Brian Hargis and wife, Tammy of Stuttgart and Robbie Hargis and wife, Jamie of Vidalia, LA; six great grandchildren, Will, Saxton, Jagar, Luke, Hannah and Natalie Hargis; and four cousins, Harold West, Gary Matheny, Shirley Matheny and LaFran Eberhart.
