Patsy L. Jones Hunter departed this life Monday, October 29, 2012 at the age of 73. She was born in Lacey, AR on November 24, 1938 to Carol and Gracie Anna McManus Jones.

She graduated from Drew Central High School and attended Arkansas A & M College. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monticello where she taught Sunday School for many years. Patsy was an avid bridge player, member of the Monticello Music Club and Alpha Chi Sorority. She loved flowers, gardening and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Billy Ralph Hunter; two sons, Ralph Hunter and wife, Teressa and Michael Hunter and Melissa Casico all from Monticello; two grandchildren, Will Hunter and Julia Hunter Barnes and husband, Jonathan; one great granddaughter, Anna Grace Barnes along with Tyler and Garret Boren; and one brother, R. D. “Sonny” Jones of Monticello.
