On July 2, 2013 Russell Mayo departed this life at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. He was born on January 23, 1967 in Fresno, California to the late Isiah & Marie Mayo.

He was the third child to the family. The family later moved to Dumas, AR where he was raised. He was educated in the Dumas School District and also attended the Jodie Partridge Center. He later moved to Monticello where he remained until his death. He enjoyed playing pool and dominoes with family and friends.

Russell leaves to cherish his memory his grandparents, Authur and Cora Booker of Milwaukee, WI; six brothers and sisters, Linda Thomas of Belleville, IL, Erma (Fredrick) Boyd of Detroit, MI, Tony (Ladonna) Mayo of Little Rock, AR, Mark Mayo of Kansas City, KS, Kevin (Pamela) Mayo of McGehee and Terrence Mayo of Oklahoma City, OK. He had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He had a kind heart and beautiful personality and will truly be missed.
