Robert Franklin Poe, Sr., age 86 of Selma passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born October 21, 1927, in Drew County, AR to the late Robert Franklin Poe and Altha Linnie Squires Poe. He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

He was a retired pipefitter for Local 619, Vicksburg, MS, a Mason and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Poe was a rancher and enjoyed working with his cows.

Survivors include his wife, Fern Kirkindoll Poe of Selma Collins Road; three sons, Robert Poe of Gould, Michael Poe and Toby Poe both of Selma Collins Road; one sister, Helen Kimmey of Townsend, Delaware; four grandsons, two granddaughters, and two great grandchildren.
